Melissa DiVietri
Melissa DiVietri is an internationally exhibiting abstract artist, disability advocate, author, public speaker, and technology entrepreneur from Michigan. Known online as Blue Eye Queen, she has built a global platform by transforming her lived experience with sacral agenesis into art, education, advocacy, and innovation.
Born with sacral agenesis, a rare congenital condition affecting the lower spine and mobility, Melissa began painting at five years old. Her abstract work explores resilience, identity, movement, emotion, and the experience of navigating a world that is not always designed with disabled people in mind.
Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Ferris State University, with additional experience in international marketing and graphic communications. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to connect creativity with strategy, accessibility, technology, and community impact.
Throughout her career, Melissa has collaborated with internationally recognized brands and organizations, including Yuga Labs, TEDx, Google, Mazda, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi. Her artwork, public speaking, digital advocacy, and international exhibitions have reached millions of people, establishing her as an influential voice in contemporary abstract art and disability inclusion.
